Millers Manager set to leave *PRESS CONFERENCE 2.15PM.

Les Payne reports in The Star, that there will be an announcement on the appointment of Mark Robins and his backroom staff, as having joined Barnsley today at 2.15 pm.

Millers Chairman Tony Stewart has said:"Mark went over there on Wednesday, things were going to go on until Sunday and I felt it was better if he was out of the situation and that is why we did what we did in Thursday morning.

"Mark Robins is a good manager and he will be a better manager," added Stewart. We have a lot to thank him for."

Barnsley director Don Rowing adding:"We've got Rotherham's blessing to bring Mark to the football club.

"Mark is a very good young manager. We've not got into the matter of compensation, we'll have to see what happens there."

It is believed Ryan Kidd the Reds assistant mnanger and goalkeeping coach, ex Milller Kelham O'Hanlon will be leaving Oakwell

The pending press conference has also been confirmed by Barnsley FC.
