Millers land Bradley!

Last updated : 07 July 2010 By Duke

22 year-old Bradley, as we reported at the end of last week, was offered a contract by boss Ronnie Moore after his release from Walsall in May after being highlighted as the key box to box midfield man the squad needed.

The player was also considering a move to other clubs including divisional rivals Shrewsbury Town, but Rotherham have won the race to fetch in the Welsh International.

Bradley played over 100 times in five years at the Banks's Stadium but had failed to break back into the side in the final few months of the season under the management of former Miller Chris Hutchings.

Speaking to the Official Site Millers boss Ronnie Moore said:

"Mark is a box-to-box midfield player"

"Jimmy had him at Walsall and knows an awful lot about him. He made his debut when he was very young, he's played over 100 games at League One level and he made his full Wales debut towards the end of last season."

"He's another big signing for us and we're pleased to get him because a few other clubs were keen on him. He's very similar to Stewart Talbot and we expect him to get goals for us. His scoring record at the moment isn't great but when I've seen him, he's always got into the box and I think that is something we can work on."

We wish Mark all the best in his Rotherham career.
