Weather warning ahead of the game with Bristol Rovers
The playing surface and surrounding areas at New York Stadium are currently clear, and at this moment in time the match with Bristol Rovers tomorrow afternoon is on.
However, the weather forecast for this evening and through the night is for heavy snow, with as much as eight inches predicted overnight.
The club have arranged with local company KCM Waste Management to come and help clear the car park of snow, whilst the match officials are staying overnight and will be on hand to carry out any pitch inspections should they be required on Saturday.
The club are asking any volunteers to keep an eye on the weather with a view to coming in tomorrow morning anytime from 8am with suitable clothing, plastic shovels and wheelbarrows to help clear the pitch and stadium surround.
