Keane will be out of action for a fortnight after picking up a hamstring strain during the FA Cup game with Peterborough.

But facing a longer spell out is Lee Williamson who fractured a toe in the opening minutes of the same game, he came out early at half-time but signalled that he could'nt continue and was subbed when the second half started.

Willo went for an x-ray yesterday and it confirmed that he has fractured a toe and will be unable to do any training at all for the next three weeks and could be out for upto 6 weeks as the Millers move into the crucial festive period.

The news is an headache for boss Alan Knill who told todays Rotherham Star; "It's a blow for us because Lee had been playing well and he's one of the very best midfielders in this division, No-one wants to lose a key player but we will have to get on without him and that's what we'll do. It's going to give opportunity to others."

Meanwhile, Gregor Robertson and Martin Woods return to action in tonights reserve game against Doncaster Rovers. Robertson has been suffering from a knee injury for the last 6 weeks while Woods has been suspended for picking up a red card against Hartlepool in the JPT. Both are in contention for a recall to the side for Saturdays game against Nottingham Forest.
