Millers granted permission to open Pope talks

As was first reported on MilersMAD a few weeks ago, the 23 year-old has attracted interest from Millers boss Mark Robins and a rumoured bid in the region of £30,000 was tabled.

A concrete fee remains unclear, but Pope will travel to South Yorkshire later today for initial talks over a contract with the club after an undisclosed amount was agreed.

Pope scored 10 times last season as Alex were relegated to League Two.
