Millers finances ahead of target

Cup runs and big crowds in the opening couple of months have helped the Millers finances.

Tony Stewart told todays 'Tiser; "We're above our target income figure for the first quarter of the season. I forecast a loss in the first year but if we proceed as well as we have been doing over the next nine months then we will do better than thought originally."

"The fans have been magnificent so far and a lot depends upon them staying behind us but the key to that is to keep continuing to produce attractive football and results."

"Financially it is a case of so far so good but we will have to take the bad with the good, I must stress that it is still very early days and the time to judge is at the end of the season."

The Millers could receive another major cash boost if they can proceed in the FA Cup and make a Wembly date in the JPT.
