Northern Ireland international Murdock, suffered a head wound that required six stiches after he was caught by an arm in Saturday's embarrassing defeat to Swindon Town. He can train but is unable to head the ball but Mick Harford fancies Murdock to be in contention at the weekend. Talking to the Rotherham Star, the beleagured Millers gaffer said: "He can train, but without doing any contact work. I think he'll want to play on Saturday, and we'll certainly do our best to get him out there."
Keane to get back!

Meanwhile, fellow Irishman, Michael Keane has returned to full training following a stomach operation that has kept him ruled out since the FA Cup defeat to Mansfield in the first week of November. He is expected to play for the reserves this week in an attempt to gain enough sharpness to be in the squad for a game that Harford has earmarked as a 'must win'. Keane spoke to the official site and said "I am well ahead of schedule so hopefully I will be able to help the lads out soon. I have worked really hard since I had the operation and I will look to play the first half for the reserves tomorrow. It will probably take a couple of games to get back in full swing again and hopefully I will be back sooner rather than later. The manager has been very fair to me so I want to come back now and repay him. I am ready when called upon and I would much rather be playing than watching as I kick the seats in front of me, just wanting to be out there."

Saturday's absentees Will Hoskins and Andy Monkhouse who were both injured are looking to be involved in the week as they look to bolster Harford's paper thin squad.
