Stewards moved into the NW corner during the first half to move aroud 40 people that were sat in the area amid claims that the Stadium Manager wanted a tidy ground.

Chief Operating Officer Paul Douglas spoke to the Star today explaining the situation and denying the Tidy Stadium rumour..

“We have had issues with fans migrating from the North End into the Main and Family Stands, This corner was designated a sterile area and fans shouldn’t have been in there and so stewards were obliged to move them to the seat applicable to their ticket."

“We want people to enjoy their visit and will look into this. If there’s demand for this corner area of the ground then we’ll ticket it and possibly steward it differently. We don’t want confrontation.” he added.
