Millers confirm Robins gardening leave

Robins has been in talks with the Tykes over thier vacant managers post, but has come back today saying that talks have yet to be finalised.

However Robbo will not be taking charge of the team for tomorrows game against Chesterfield as chairman has put him on gardening leave while things are sorted out.

Stewart gave the clubs official site the following statement:- "Mark Robins has confirmed that his talks with Barnsley FC are not yet concluded and as such whilst he remains our manager, it has been agreed that he will take a period of gardening leave until the matter is resolved. We will keep fans updated as and when further developments occur and wish to confirm that preparations for Saturday's game with Chesterfield will take priority at this moment in time."

It's expected that John Breckin will take charge of the team for Saturdays game.
