The club, who left Hooton Lodge as part of the termination of the lease with the Booths, have signed an initial ten-month deal beginning on the 1st July and will have access to both grass and state of the art 3G pitches as well as the stadium's fitness and catering facilities.

Gavin Baldwin, Chief Executive of the Keepmoat Stadium Management was delighted to welcome the Millers to Doncaster. He said: "They are a South Yorkshire club of great tradition and we are able to supply first class facilities to suit their needs for the coming season."

Assistant manager John Breckin admitted that it was a blow moving out of town but recognised the outstanding facilities at the Keepmoat. "It's not ideal moving out of Rotherham and it is sad to leave Hooton Lodge but the facilities are second to none at the Keepmoat and the lads will really look forward to training there," Breckin told Rotherham's official website, www.themillers.co.uk.

The Millers hope that they will only be away from Rotherham for one season and new chairman Tony Stewart has identified a couple of potential facilities for next year. "We've got two sites, one is more favourable and we know that in less than a season we can get that site up and running. One season should be good enough for us to move back in to Rotherham," he told BBC Radio Sheffield earlier in the week.
