Millers complete Diagouraga swoop

Will Hoskins and Lee Williamson have moved to Vicarage Road on three and a half year contracts as the Millers receive a sufficient payment upfront in a deal which MillersMAD understands will eventually be worth upto just over a million pounds, with several possible clauses written into the contractual agreement.

The news initally broke yesterday evening and was confirmed today on Radio Sheffield by chairman Denis Coleman, as Alan Knill now steps up his search for new players. One or possibly two front men may be on his wanted shortlist that he's presented to the board.

One new face has arrived on loan at Millmoor as part of the deal and that is 19 year-old French midfielder Toumani Diagouraga (right).

He signed professional terms aged just 17 after he was reportedly scouted by Premiership clubs. Over six feet tall and an athletic central player, he made his first team debut against Wolves just over a year ago in the League Cup and last season spent a loan period at League Two side Swindon Town.

Toumani has signed until the end of the season, although a midfielder he can also play behind the front two. Watford are understood to be continuing to pay the players full wages.

Coleman had confirmed earlier to the BBC that a player would be coming in, the deal has also been posted on the official club site

Meanwhile Hoskins and Williamson will not be available for Watford's cup tie with Stockport tomorrow, but could play a part against Liverpool in the Premiership next weekend, whilst their former team mates host Chesterfield......

MillersMAD wishes Toumani all the best in his time with the Millers.
