Millers boss targets experienced signing

With a large amount of Rotherham's squad not having much football league experience, Robins has highlighted the need for someone with an old head to come in and increase the average age.

In an interview with the Rotherham Star, the rookie boss said: "What I would like to bring in is someone who has got some years behind him, who is experienced and has been around a bit.

"I know what sort of player we need, the type I'd like. We need someone to help make us more solid."

Robins has accepted that this won't be easy though and believes the next signing will be an important one for the club's fortunes. "A lot of clubs will be chasing the same players or have similar targets.

"We have moved quickly so far and have put in a lot of work already. I'm delighted at what we've done so far and this next one will be a key signing." said Robins.
