Millers away to non-league opposition in Cup

Millers in away clash Vs Eastleigh or Forest Green in the first round of the FA cup. Eastleigh are currently playing in the Blue Square South Football league and are occupying 7th place. Forest Green currently play in the Blue Square Premier and are sitting in 6th place.

The game sees a long trip for the Millers either way, Eastleigh being 220 miles, Forest Green 160 miles.

The two teams drew 3 all in their game yesterday, the reply is on Tuesday night.

Forest Green were formed in 1890 play there home games at The Lawn and are managed by Jim Harvey. They finished the 2006/07 season in 14th position and after a promising start to the season hope to build on last seasons showing.

Eastleigh were founded in 1946 but were then known as Swaythling Athletic Football Club, the name changed in 1980 to Eastleigh Football Club. The club is currently managed by Rotherham born Ian Baird.
