The former Northampton man has been speaking to themillers.co.uk about his delight on not just the team ending their winless streak but also his own personal pleasure at scoring the crucial opening goal.

Crucial Goal
Williamson apparently hobbled onto the team bus on crutches after helping the lads outplay Bradford City with an injured ankle, and admitted that the first knock he received during the first half caused him to miss his opening strike! He said: "It has taken a long time coming after all the times I have hit the post and the bar earlier this season. But I didn't actually see the ball go into the net as I was tackled as I struck the shot and went down injured. I missed a chunk of the season earlier but that is now all behind me and I feel that I am getting back to my best again so lets hope we can get a good run going."

Of the team's performance, Lee added: "It was a great all round performance but the win has been coming in recent weeks. Now we have to try and capitalise on that over the busy Christmas period that is coming up."
