Meanwhile Annerson played for City in a behind closed doors friendly earlier this week after recovering from knee surgery which has kept him out for the entire season.
With Rhys Taylor and Andy Warrington keeping him out of the picture, Annerson has moved to Valley Parade on an initial month long cover basis after Matt Duke joined Northampton.
