Manager Hunt update.

Knill has taken over the reigns while the club look for a successor to Mick Harford, and has been told he will be in charge for the time being.

Speaking to Radio Sheffield he said "My job is assistant manager / first team coach and last time I kind of dived in foolishly and the whole thing is about results. I just wanted to learn for two years of another manager and see where that took me, I haven'nt changed my opinion."

"The board have just told me to get on with it for the forseeable future." he added.

Meanwhile club chairman Peter Ruchniewicz told the clubs official website that the club had recieved a wide range of applicants. "The directors have met this week to consider a replacement for Mick. We have had a significant number of applications. As a result of our discussions some have been discarded but others are being actively pursued. he said.

Ruchniewicz went on to tell the supporters, "I am sure some fans will be frustrated that we have not get a new man in place but I can assure supporters we are doing all we can to bring in a new manager as soon as possible,"
