Moore scooped the award towards the end of last year despite some fans already calling for his head but with make or break time approaching in the promotion race, he told the Tiser the squad needs to deliver as a whole.

"We finished February off well with that win at Burton last Saturday and I've said to the lads, if they can do me a favour and make me Manager of the Month for March then we are not going to be too far away from the top three.

"That's not being greedy. It's just stating a fact that we'll have had a good points return.

"We don't want the play-offs, that's the last thing we want—although we'd take it if we have to. We want the top three and if we win our games we'll be there.

"We've still got Dagenham to play, Notts County to play and Bury to play. It's all about what we do."
