Speaking to the club official website, www.themillers.co.uk gaffer Steve Evans said that a deal between the clubs was agreed but the 34 year old scouser turned it down.
“We are disappointed not to sign Ryan but I am grateful to Karl Robinson and MK Dons for being helpful in putting the deal together,”
“Everything was agreed between the two clubs for a loan deal but the player made it clear that he wanted to stay in League One and fight for a first team place with MK Dons.” Evans added.
