League Two will be a battle - O'Grady

Despite finishing the season with decent form and last season 4 relegated teams all up at the top of the table in league two, the Millers striker tells the 'Tiser that he expects a tough season.

The £65k signing from Leicester City said "Everyone is fighting for their lives in League Two because they all want to stay in the Football League, It can be scrappy and it's in those types of games that you've got to adjust to get results."

"It will be more difficult to get the ball down and play next season but I think that at Millmoor we can dictate to other teams. Our aim has to be to make Millmoor a fortress and go away and be hard to beat." he added.

O'Grady then went on to speak about the guidence the manager Mark Robins has given him; "I have to say that Mark Robins has played a big part. He was a striker and he gives me pointers as to what I should be doing to get the best results and it's been paying off."

"He's been telling me to get in positions to score and to do more in and around the penalty area. As a striker all you can do and, when you get there, hopefully do the business. I'd like to think that the long-range left-footer I scored with at Forest is the type I'm capable of. I always try to use both feet."

"My better form is also down to having a run in the team and the team playing with confidence. That allows you to play with confidence yourself. If you're playing in a team that's not winning or scoring and you try things yourself that don't come off then your own confidence goes as well." he added.

O'Grady looked back at last weekends game against Carlisle which saw the Millers relegation confirmed after a 1-0 defeat, "It's a pity we had to lose against Carlisle last week, because we deserved a result. We pushed too hard in the second half and they broke and scored against the run of play."
