Knill who has been in charge of the team for nearly half the season now after the sacking of Mick Harford, last night recieved a boost from the forum last night.

Millers company secretary Paul Douglas told the 150-200 or so attending the meeting, "We think Alan has done a very good job, He took charge in unbelievable circumstances, the club struggling on and off the field. With no money, he has gone about the job in a professional way, sensible and mature."

Paul Douglas
"He has got the team going about it in an exciting way and the lads have been putting in a massive effort in the bid to avoid relegation." he added, although he admitted that the board had not as yet spoken with Knill regarding a new contract.

Later on during the meeting, chairman Denis Coleman was asked about next seasons player budget. He said that Knill would have a budget figure and would be expected to bring in a squad on that budget.
