Knill reminds Millers to keep feet on the ground..

The Millers could move out of the League One relegation zone this weekend should they break the 37 year voodoo against Crewe Alexandra by beating them and the other results going out way.

And who would have thought that we would have even given ourselves a chance of getting out of the drop zone before November?? Not many, thats for sure!!

Speaking to todays Rotherham Star, Knill praised his players but warned that theres still a lot of hard work ahead.

"They're a young team and they've shown excellent character, I'm delighted with the response of the lads but we've not achieved our main aim yet."

"We've won every match (in the league) this month and as a manager you really can't ask for much more than that. But I'm going to have to."

"If it wasn't for the penalty we would have been right up there around the play-offs but we did get a penalty and so the reality is that we're not. We've got to keep our feet on the ground."

"I just keep reminding the players that the most important game is always the next one, that's the way it's going to have to be, and they've responded brilliantly."

Knill will be at Crewe's League cup game against Manchester United tomorrow night, "This will be the second time I've seen Crewe this season. I also saw them play Gillingham earlier on. Hopefully, Manchester United give them a real run-around! But, seriously, we will look to play to our strengths."

"When I came here I wanted to build an athletic team who could not only run but could also play. We've set ourselves high standards and now the challenge is to keep that up."
