With the results going for the Millers, and a 4th win on the trot in the league, Alan Knill's men moved out of the League One relegation zone.

Speaking to todays Rotherham Star, Knill tried to keep everybody as grounded as he could, "Everyone made a thing about the win taking us out of the bottom four and it is an unbelievable effort to have done so by the end of October, But we must guard against any complacency and we must now push on from here. This is just the beginning." Knill said.

"If, at the start of the season, someone had said we would have got out of the bottom four at this stage then you wouldn't have believed them. It has been a fantastic effort by the players and everybody at the football club - and I include the fans who have been right behind the players." he added

Knill then warned that although October had been good for the Millers, we need to keep at it and keep picking points up and keep clear of the relegation zone.

Hoskin's goals helping.
"We have to keep meeting our targets which we set at the start of the season, There are only three league games this month and it is easy for any team to lose three and so make no progress in November. But we have given ourselves a real chance and I look at the players and their mentality is 'we can do this'."

Knill finished with, "When we signed them they all thought we could overcome the handicap. They've done really well to get where we are at this stage but we've six months still to do and that's a long way to go."
