Knill- Best is yet to come from Delroy

Facey arrived in the summer from Tranmere but after netting nine goals last term, he was slow off the mark this time around. Now the 25 year-old seems much more settled and grabbed his first home goal in Saturday's win over Yeovil after previosuly netting at Hartlepool in the JP Trophy and Carlisle.

In an interview with the Rotherham Star, Alan Knill believes the best is yet to come from Facey. Knill explained: "I am sure there are more goals to come and this one will have done him the world of good but it's not all about goals with Delroy.

"We all want 20 goals from a striker, but perhaps people fail to see what else he does for the team. He's so strong and powerful and he has pace and he's so difficult to handle - he's got the lot and when he is right on his game, he is unplayable.

"I spoke with him last week and had a few words to say at half-time of the Gillingham game. The reaction was good on both occasions.

"As long as his contribution is as it was last week then I'll take it. He's a big part of the team when he's on and so important in both penalty areas.

"Delroy is a lad with a great desire who thinks he should be playing higher and I share that view. If he shows what he did last Saturday, week in, week out, then he's going to get better and better."

Knill said that his contribution is not just measured in goals - "he attracts players to him and frees up space for others. I'll take what he does".
The Millers sit four points above League One's trap door ahead of tonight's other fixtures, with second placed Bristol City travelling North this coming weekend in what looks to be another tough but entertaining game.
