Knill, speaking to www.themillers.co.uk, was pleased with his sides showing in the 2-0 victory over Brentford as the team prepare to travel upto Victoria Park.

He said: "I am delighted with our win against Brentford on Saturday and thought we played really well in the second half and absolutely delighted that's another three points and helps us to get where we need to be.

"After half time I spoke to the lads and told them we needed to up the tempo, we train all week at a high tempo and I didn't think we played well enough in the first half and the lads came back out and did what I had asked.

"We are now off the bottom of the table and that's is a big boost for me the players and the supporters but we still have a long way to go to get to where we need to be

"We are a lot more solid in defence at the moment, we have been training had to deal with set pieces and the lads have taken that on board and we look pretty solid in defence now.

"Now we travel to Hartlepool for the first round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy cup game, it will be difficult when I'm picking the team as we have picked up a few injuries and there's a rule that says I have to include six out of the eleven players who have played the most games but I will put out a team that is pretty strong and one I'm sure will compete very well."
