Knill - Comfortable from the start

Whilst Moore was less than impressed with his Oldham side, Alan Knill was full of praise for his Millers outfit, who never looked back after a storming first half hour.

Knill told the official site: "I felt comfortable from the start and I knew the formation we put out would cause them problems as we have good pace in midfield whilst being technically very good as we can pass the ball around the pitch.

"The main thing was to compete and we did that straight away to make it a difficult game for them. The first half performance was as good as we have had and with Ronnie coming back it added a bit of spice to the players who were up for it from the start.

"We opened with a great free kick from the training ground but in the first half we could have had more as the only time they troubled us was from a set piece. So it was a great performance, the players have reacted from Chesterfield and they were outstanding. Now we have to build on that at Huddersfield on Saturday - John Mullin was outstanding."
