Joseph joins up

Last updated : 21 June 2007 By Millersmad staff
After much speculation about the identity of the new player, the Star this morning reports that Marc Joseph has signed for the Millers.

Joseph, 30, started his career at Cambridge United, moving to Hull City and then Blackpool. Much of his time at Bloomfield Road was spent at right back, but he lost his place last season to Shaun Barker after his switch to the coast from Millmoor last close season.

His versatility - his career has seen him play at left back, right back and in central defence - impressed John Breckin. In an interview with the Star, a delighted John Breckin said "he can play right-back, either of the centre-defence positions and left-back too if required. He's athletic and he's just been with a club that has gone up so he's been in a successful dressing room".
