After spending 6 weeks on the sidelines after being crunched by Barry Conlon during a reserve team game against Barnsley midfielder John Mullin is now ready for a first team recall.

He told the Millers official website "I have done quite a bit of running in the last couple of weeks and last Thursday and again today I joined in full training with the rest of the lads. All I need now is match fitness and I could have done with a reserves game this week. But I am ready if I am needed at Crewe on Saturday."
The news will be a boost to Ronnie Moore after injuries to Shaun Barker, Darren Garner and Paul McLaren which left the midfield less then threadbare.

McLaren and Garner are both hopeful of being fit, but will undergo fitness
tests before the game at Crewe on Saturday.

Meanwhile Rob Scott underwent surgery on Monday on his injured shoulder, he is expected and hoped to restarting training in 4 weeks after initial fears were that he was out for a matter of months. Scott will be in a sling for a fortnight.
