JCR Hearing delayed - again

Yet again Southend United use delaying tactics to stall the payment of £117,000 to the Millers. Tomorrows hearing has been arjourned due to Southend Chairman Ron Martin phoning in with illness.

The new date for the hearing is April 7th - a date we might not be arouund to see if this consortium fails to take over the running of the club.

And until the problem is sorted Campbell-Ryce is unable to play for the Shrimpers as Rotherham United hold his registration. The winger has not played a game since December 28th, but considers himself a Southend player.

The Millers are also pursueing a claim for Campbell-Ryce's wages which is rumoured to be £2,500 a week.
