A statement just publish on the clubs official site states that both clubs have settled thier differences and without the need of a hearing and decision from the league hearing.

Millers chairman Denis Coleman gave the official site the following statement: "I am exceptionally pleased that this matter has been resolved in the best interests of both clubs and the player. This is good news for the club in its continuing fight for survival. This settlement is also great news financially particularly in this difficult period.

"I would like to personally thank Ron Martin, chairman of Southend United, for his professionalism and his constructive approach. Mr Martin will be extremely welcome at Millmoor anytime in the future."

Ron Martin - He's welcome at Millmoor....
It is unknown the actual deal that has been struck, but the Millers were owed £117,000 for the winger which should have been paid on January 1st, the club has also been paying Campbell-Ryce since that date and was claiming his wages back in the claim.

Lets hope that the club disclose the deal, and prove that we have not just been shafted once again.

Furthermore, will us the fans welcome Ron Martin to Millmoor?? Personally I would, with a dozen eggs...
