"I thought that it took us a while to get going in the first half, now and again we created a decent passing move and ended up with a shot but we did not create a great deal, I thought that Scunthorpe passed it better than us in the first half and I think that they have some good players and they looked good." he said
"We started to get a bit more of the ball, we were a little wasteful with it but it is early days so there is no post-mortems at this stage.
"It's nice to win the game and it gives everyone a bit of confidence. It's the first goals that we have scored here at Don Valley and I thought we finished the game off very well. We started to look good, especially towards the end in the last 25 minutes."
"I thought that it was becoming a lot better to watch and we are steadily moving towards what I am looking for. It's still early days and we have a few games left and a lot of training to do, but credit to the players they have stuck to it and worked hard."
