The Millers dipped out 7-6 in the penalty shootout after holding Championship Hull to a 1-1 draw for 120 minutes, the result not reflecting the Millers performance.
“We were all disappointed because we didn’t deserve to go out and the players were hurting,” Steve Evans tpld the Star.
“Well, if a good team if hurting then that’s fine by me. It shows that they care and, whilst we played well, they don’t want to settle for that, they want to be winners. It was a day when we wanted to show what we are capable of and did that.” he added
