Speaking to MillersWorld after the game, Sharps was obviously happy, but was quick to remind fans that the tie is not over by a long way.

"We've obviously got the advantage to take into the second leg but this game is by no means over, they probably deserved a draw maybe but we smashed the winner near the end and its good to get something here."

"It was a great finish, hes a poacher. He's obviously seen the lad was going to pass it back, I was'nt even watching as I was sorting something out at the back I turned round and he was clean though. Brilliant and it's a good win away."

The defensive unit were strong today and Ian spoke about the game from his point of view; "I don't think we had too much to do today, a few long range shots and a few scraps at the end, there was one first half effort where we lost it in the sun but I thought we all did our jobs perfectly today."

"Any clean sheet is a good display, and he's deserved the man of the match today has Fenners, hes been good all season and I think we make a good partnership in general. It's good to keep a clean sheet and it's not just us, theres Gavin, Lynchy and Woggy and the lads in front who work execptionally hard, its just good to come away with the win." Sharps added.

Ian spoke about Gavin Gunnings first half last ditch tackle; "Yeah he's covered well for us there, if Fenners had'nt won the second ball, he's played well today Gav."

In ending, Sharps praised the travelling Millers who made the long trip down and gave good support; "Yeah, they've gave a lot of support for us today, they were very loud and matched Aldershot so can't argue with that, and hopefully we'll get thousands there on Wendesday to cheer us on."

"It's our chance to get to Wembley this year and theres still everything to play for, and the more support we get the better we can be." he added.
