It's been the worst year of my life - Brogan.

Its been a year to forget for 20 year old Rotherham lad, a double fracture and a fortnight in Milton Keynes general hospital, watching his team's form slump and then administration to top it off.

However, he returned to the pitch this week in a cameo 20 minute spell in the reserve game and helped turn around a 2-0 deficit into a 2-2 draw.

Speaking to the clubs official website themillers.co.uk, Stephen spoke about the past year; "It's hard to describe really, I'm over the moon for myself and my family. It's been a long time, just over 12 months now and it's been the worst 12 months of my life to be honest. But it's been brilliant to come on tonight and get that buzz back." Stephen said.

"I just wanted to get on. I was a bit nervous but I couldn't stop smiling. It was like my debut all over again, just a great feeling, I've worked as hard as I possibly could with Denis Circuit to make sure that I'd come back. There are people that haven't come back from injuries like this, but there are plenty of players that have and I want to make sure I'm one of those."

"I'm a very confident person. In the back of my mind I've always known that I was going to get back fit, Hopefully I'll get a start in the next reserve game and try and get through the full 90 minutes, and then I've got to try and get my place back in the first team. Jamie Green's doing well at the moment but I'm a confident person and I think I can get back in."
