It's a test of nerves - Fenton

Fenton is hoping to finish the season strongly as he conceeds that automatic promotion is now out of our hands; "Our result on Saturday put us out of the automatic race because it's virtually impossible to catch Bournemouth now, We're just got to concentrate on cementing that play-off place and hopefully emerging the best at the end of May." the 30 year old told todays Advertiser.

"We need to finish the season flying ready for the play-offs because the team that goes into them in form usually does well. The play-offs is a lottery-everyone knows that-but that's why the fans like it. There's a potential day at Wembley at the end of it and the rewards are huge. Hopefully we can get through that and get promoted."

"It's a great place to play football and a lovely target but we've plenty to do before then. I'd agree the play-offs are a test of nerve but we've a big squad and a lot of experienced heads in there. There's lads that have been there before so that might look favourable on us. We'll have to wait and see." he added.

Fenton then vented his frustrations from last Saturdays 0-0 draw again Cheltenham town, a result that virtually put paid to the Millers automatic promotion chances; "In the second half the wind was difficult and the sun was a killer, You couldn't see any ball coming out of the sky. It was just a matter of putting your face in the way and hoping it hits you."

"It was just a frustrating afternoon. It was one of those matches where if you get one goal you go on and get two, three, four or five. In the first half we had so many chances and hit the keeper's legs or bodies or whatever."

"They were fighting against relegation and they weren't a bad side but at the same time we dominated them for the full 90 minutes and never looked in any danger but couldn't get that breakthrough we needed."
