It is like a new signing - Law

When 21yr old Brogan came off the bench on Saturday at Port Vale to score, it may well have been a turning point in the season for the his team as well as himself.

Brogan has had a long road to recovery from the broken leg he sustained at M.K. Dons back in February 2008.  Midfielder Nicky Law told The Star:

"Everyone is absolutely delighted for 'Paddy.'

"He is a great lad and he has worked his socks off to get back into the side. Eighteen months out injured for anyone is really hard but particularly 'Paddy' as everyone was talking about him.

"It is like a new signing having him back and he showed he is back to his best on Saturday.

"It is going to take him a bit of time after an injury like that to build up his fitness but he will get better as the season goes on.

"Hopefully he can get a good run in the side and show how good he is."

The winner on Saturday came from Law and from his unfavoured foot.:
"I think that is only the second goal of my professional career on my left foot.

"I don't know why I shot on my left but luckily it went in. It was one of my most important goals in terms of how late it was and how desperately we needed the three points.

"At the start of the season, everything we were trying was coming off but we have recently hit a sticky patch.

"We have drawn too many games and dropped too many points this year so Saturday's match was a huge win for us."
