It hurts - Scott

The Millers head to the smoke tomorrow to face relegation haunted Dagenham & Redbridge with boss Andy Scott under pressure from fans who have turned on him over recent weeks as the clubs promotion aspirations vanish.

Scott got the backing of Tony Stewart this week and told the 'Tiser; "The chairman doesn't need to come out in the press and support me because I have conversations with him near enough every day."

"I'm hurting, especially after Saturday. I want to be a success here and the only way of doing that is to win football matches. As a manager, no-one is fire proof. It's a fickle business and everyone wants results. We go into these jobs with our eyes wide open."

"It’s difficult but do you sit down and let everyone trample all over you and accept failure or stand up and fight? I'll fight and in time we'll turn this around but I can't just say that, we've got to prove it on the pitch." he added.
