Ipswich boss confirms Hoskins interest

The Millers talisman, with 13 goals this season, is currently thinking over a new contract offer from Rotherham as the club battle to keep their prize striking asset.

Today Magilton, speaking to skysports.com, confirmed that he was a big fan of the 21 year old. He explained: ""Hoskins is someone we like. Steve McCall watched him on Saturday and we have talked about him, but he is one of many players we are looking closely at."

Town have also expressed interest in Scunthorpe duo Billy Sharp and Andy Keogh.

Meanwhile, Hoskins has been speaking about his admiration for the games top performers that can only help him improve his game. He said: I've watched the way Henry gets the ball out of his feet chips his goals into the far corner, and that's something I've tried to incorporate into my own game."

"Likewise with Rooney, he's superb at dropping into the hole and collecting possession and then doing something dangerous.

"I admire Henry and Rooney greatly but I'm my own person and am confident I can continue improving by doing what I'm doing."
