Injury victim Warrington has foot operation

As mentioned earlier on the boards, Warrington suffered a chipped bone in his toe leaving him in agony post match and having to undergo local surgery.

Assistant boss Paul Warne spoke to Millersplayer and confirmed Woggy's absence.

"Someone jumped on his foot and when we looked at it after the game his skin was hanging off his toe. You could pull the skin away and see the bones and the tendons and when he went for a shower, he put his foot in a plastic bag as he's chipped the bone as well," said Warney.

Jamie Annerson will play in goal in Warrington's place on Saturday at Cheltenham.

Physio Denis Circuit added: "The nail has had to be removed. He goes back next Tuesday to see the consultant and a couple of days after that we'll have an X-ray done just to see because there was a slight fracture.

"Depending on the fracture it could be upto four weeks but we'll know more at the end of next week."
