I'll fetch them here myself - Knill

Knill was speaking to Radio Sheffield while he was at Doncasters new Keepmoat Stadium to take in Doncaster v Darlington in the JP Trophy.

"We are playing Doncaster Rovers later this month and it was an ideal opportunity for me to come and look at them. They are a good passing team with good movement up front." Knill said, it is not known if he was looking at any of the players on show as potential signings.

Knill confirmed that he is looking to bring in players, and said "I was at a game last night and am going to two games tomorrow. It will be difficult to replace Will Hoskins and Lee Williamson - Lee, in my opinion, was the best midfield player in this division. But the money we got for them will secure the finances of the football club."

"The next forty-eight hours are crucial." Knill admitted, "I am waiting for a phone call tomorrow about a player and I would hope to have one in by Thursday - but you never know in football, you keep having the rug pulled from under your feet. All I can do is keep asking and knocking at doors. If we saw a player we wanted, even if we had to fetch him and drive him here ourselves, we would.'" he added

Knill will find out how much money he has to spend, if any when the Millers board meet tomorrow.
