"If I got offered it then it would be a great honour but I would only take it if I one hundred per cent honestly believe I could make the team competitive next year and that it wouldn't affect my family life as much as it has done. " Warne told the Advertiser,

"To lose so many games since Christmas is really hard but I don't think any season could be possibly be as low as this one. With a good pre-season and good recruitment and a good start next season could be an exciting one. After going through all this I feel like I deserve a bit of the better side of it but there are no guarantees. And I won't be losing any sleep over the announcement. I lose more sleep about how the team are performing." he added.

He went on to look forward to the next 2 games, where its looking like the Millers relegation to League One will be confirmed.

"We have to try and build them up to fight and scrap for every ball on the pitch against Fulham next week and the same against Sheffield Wednesday and hopefully that will be enough to accumulate some points."

"I'm doing everything I can to keep the group positive and hopefully put on some performances, This week we've just tried to lick a few wounds and pick them up before two hard home games."
