I want to stay - Sharps

The skipper is out of contract in the summer and the 29 year old defender is hoping to stay with the Millers as they look to fulfill Tony Stewarts ambition of being in the Championship within 3 years.

"I would like to stay. I've got both my kids settled here and the wife has made a lot of friends." Sharps told the 'Tiser.

"Obviously a lot of factors come into it and I want to get a contract with a promoted team preferably. That's the aim. The chairman has said how ambitious he is and whatever happens this season, he is capable of moving the club forward." he added.
