I should'nt have played Joseph - Robins

Robins explained that Joseph had a family funeral the day of the Peterborugh game, and should'nt have really played him.

Joseph struggled and has ahd a little slating on the messageboards, now people know a little more about the situation.

Robins told todays Rotherham Advertiser; "Marc wasn't at the races. It had been a difficult day for him because he had been to the funeral. That was a lesson learned for me and it was probably the wrong decision to play him."

"It wasn't the ideal preparation and he just didn't start the game. As the game went on he did a bit better but it's difficult to criticise because he did ever so well on Saturday and has done well all season." he added.

The defeat was only the Millers 2nd defeat on the road all season, but Robins was still worried about the defeat; "They have been outstanding up to now and it's only the second game we've lost this season away from home but the manner of the defeat is what concerns me most, There are probably one or two players playing within themselves at the moment. With the young lads you're going to get that and I've got to temper that. But the game is gone now; it's time to reflect on it and put things right."
