Hudson relishing Saltergate reunion

Hudson, who made over 100 appearances in a Chesterfield jersey, is looking forward to a tasty midfield battle with Derek Niven and company.

Speaking to Millersworld, he says the game has that extra spice for him personally. He explained: "It will be nice to go back there but the reception from the home crowd will be a bit different.

"Hopefully I can score a goal as I did last year when we played against them at Huddersfield, I'm looking forward to it and we are on a great run winning six on the bounce. Their home form is not so good so hopefully we can get a result."

Hudson missed out on yesterday's player on the month award for League Two but insists it's nice to be recognised. "It's good to get noticed and nominated but it's the team that counts, we are a strong team - we win together and we lose together" he added.
