Hotel rumpus affected Millers

Speaking to the Rotherham Star, Knill told of a loud party being held at the hotel until the early hours which kept some players awake.

"The music didn't stop until 1am and then cars were driving off, people leaving and players were being kept awake, Some of them complained it was the worst night's sleep they'd had for ages." Knill said.

"I must say the hotel was unbelievable. Everything was wrong about it and it wasn't the sort of preparation that you need."

"We looked tired in the game. Players who usually give us energy didn't seem to have any and the disruption into the early hours has to be among the reasons. All things considered it was a great win." Knill added
