Will was called up for England U19 duty last week and although he didnt feature in the 1-0 win over Denmark on Saturday, he did today and he came off the bench in the 88th minute.

In the last minute he crossed the ball over to Southampton youngster Dexter Blackstock who tapped the ball home to give England the 3 points, Blackstock told the FA website "After 85 minutes I started to think it would be one of those days, but thanks to a great ball from Will I was able to get the all important goal – we would have had to score a lot against Moldova if we’d drawn!

England U19 manager Martin Hunter was delighted and told TheFA.com "These boys deserve the chance to play in the European Championships and we will be as thoroughly professional against Moldova as we have been so far.

"This team has had a track record of conceding goals, so I was delighted with this performance and keeping a clean sheet.

"We want to finish this tournament by winning three matches and if that means winning by one nil or two nil, so be it. But I am pleased with the whole squad. I was delighted for Will Hoskins. His was a great ball in for the goal, which we had lacked all night."

Hopefully after tonight Hoskins will have carved a place in Englands next game against Moldova at Blackpool's Bloomfield Rd ground on Wednesday.

England have now qualified for the UEFA European U19 Championship Finals
