Henson told todays Star, "The way our supporters and the public here have responded since the February 9 announcement has been truly magnificent, Where we would have been right now, who knows, but for the money raised. People ask if we could have kept going without it, could we have survived without it. You never know what's round the corner but we could have gone."

Rumours of the last few days are that a constortium are ready to take over the running of the club. The club have stated that they are in talks but nothing is coming out that is concrete.

Henson went on to add, "Everyone who has contributed, every pound that has been dropped in a bucket in the past five weeks or so, has helped keep our club alive and ensured that our fans will have a home game against Bristol City to go to this Saturday. Otherwise, that may not have been the case and there would have been no game this weekend."

As reported on this site, this coming Saturday's game against Bristol City is 'Fans United' day where fans of other clubs are welcomed to Millmoor wearing their own team colours.

"Other clubs and fans elsewhere have shown great support as well and it has been a magnificent effort that has given the club a chance to survive so far whilst looking to carry the fight on to take the club forward." Henson finalised.
