Henderson: I've had a great time

Scoring no goals, seeing the manager that signed you get the sack and being relegated is what passes for fun down Norwich way. At least it is if you're Ian Henderson, who has been speaking the Pink 'Un (the Green 'Un for Norfolk folk, who are more in touch with their feminine sides) about his time at Millmoor and his future.

Henderson, who combines the enthusiastic running of a Jack Russell terrier with the footballing ability of an Oxo Cube, is out of contract at Carrow Road this summer and says he's "keeping his options open" about where he'll ply his trade next season.

"I'm not sure at the moment [where my future lies]", said Henderson, pausing to blast a football 8 feet over an open goal from no yards out, "The bottom line is that I want to play football but I want to keep my options open and we'll have to wait and see."

Henderson plans talks with Norwich boss Peter Grant about his future in Norfolk in the near future, but speaks in glowing terms about his stint at Millmoor. "The Rotherham boys have been brilliant since I've been here", said Henderson, generously not mentioning that whilst the "boys" may have been doing great, the first team has notched up a whopping 3 wins in 16 matches during his loan, "Obviously I would like to stay at Norwich but I've also had a great time here with Rotherham"

"I certainly feel like I have improved as a player [at Millmoor]", he added - as Millers fans scratched their heads and thought that if this is him improved, what must he have been like before? - "I have found a position just behind the striker that seems to suit my game and something that I can build on in the future."

With all this positivity from him, could it be that Henderson might be with us next year? League Two clubs might to have to budget for the cost of repairing damage to their stand roofs from god-awful shooting: he doesn't rule it out.
