Partridge returns
Much speculation is mounting about his move away from Millmoor, with the fans playing a waiting game ofor any developments. Some good news is the permanent capture of Eugen Bopp who will now take his place in the starting line up tomorrow. Richie Partridge returns to the side on the right and Ian Sharps should be ok to resume his role as skipper after coming off injured at Bradford.

A last minute decision will be made on the fitness of Delroy Facey, whilst Will Hoskins faces a one game suspension.

Cobblers boss John Gorman doesn't expect much activity at Sixfield's before tonight's transfer deadline, insisting he's happy with his squad despite losing all three of their home games thus far. Trialist Jerome Watt has penned a deal until the end of the season, and Gorman travels with an unchanged squad from Tuesday night's defeat to Bristol City.

Midfielder Eoin Jess is looking to bounce back and continue some good away form and claim a regular starting birth. He told the Cobblers official site: "We should have gone and got a result on Tuesday. We have to keep hold of the ball better than we did and it was very disappointing. We thought at half time we could go on and win it but it did not work out like that. We knew we had a job to do in the second half but we did not do it, it's as simple as that. The manager was not very happy and the players were not happy either.”

“We've got the game against Rotherham on Friday and we need to get back on track there. Of course I am disappointed not to have started games. Everyone wants to, but is the manager's decision and I respect that. I will fight and battle for my place and that is the way it should be."

Cobblers One's To Watch:

Andy Kirk- prolific in the lower league's and in Scotland, netted on Tuesday night.

Scott McGleish – usually has a good game against the Millers, hopefully we keep him quiet this time around!

Full Head2Head will appear here later this evening.
