Job to lift the Players
How will the players react to the news regarding the clubs position, lets hope they can kick on and give the travelling support something to cheer about in this crunch game agains the promotion hopefuls.

This week should have seen the JCR transfer hearing, but it seems Southend are still playing silly buggers and thier lawyer called off and the hearing has yet to be set a new date.

Michael Keane is back available for the Millers after a 4 match ban for getting needlessly sent off against Huddersfield. He told the official site, "It's been a nightmare being suspended for four games, I think I let everyone down but I am looking now to prove
that I can do better things on the pitch."

Phil Gilchrist could also be set for a place on the bench after coming back from injury.

The team travelled down south on Thursday minus Scott Minto (Achilles) and Neil Cutler (Broken Jaw)

Southend have Adam Barrett out suspended but welcome back Efe Sodje. Meanwhile former Millers striker Shaun Goater has announced his retirement at the end of this season.
