John Sheridan's Latics sit in fourth place in the table and arrive in a rich vein of form, and on the back of a 3-0 win against Northampton on Saturday at Boundary Park.

It;s expected the visitors will be able to name an unchanged line up. Midfielder Richie Wellens, top scorer Chris Porter and defender Stefan Stam, who netted against the Millers earlier in the season, are all expected to start after returning to the squad at the weekend. Paul Warne also lines up against his old club.

Alan Knill is sweating on the fitness of Pablo Mills (left), otherwise Dave Worrell may have to again cover the centre back slot as he did successfully at Swansea at the weekend. Colin Murdock (thigh) may be forced into a return to the bench as the Millers are stretched to the bare bones, but young Liam King could also come into contention for a squad place. Lee Williamson is still a week or so away and Michael Keane hopes to step up training in the New Year.
